Cultivation & Research
The Jamaican environment is ideal for outdoor cultivation due to its tropical climate and 12-12 light cycle. CITIVA is developing a partnership with a 1,200-acre farming estate, on which all farmable land is dedicated to cannabis cultivation. CITIVA also plans to operate 140,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse space, which will be used as part of our cultivation process.
University of the West Indies
In partnership with the University of the West Indies (UWI), CITIVA operates 7,000 sq. ft. of cultivation and laboratory space, with access to state-of-the-art research and equipment within UWI’s world-class Medical Sciences Building.
Market Positioning
CITIVA’s unique position at UWI allows us to cultivate, process, and research cannabis, with production costs significantly lower than those in the US or Canada. Because of this, we are able to give back to the community that helps drive our vision by consistently paying above market wages in Jamaica.

Forza Vitale
Forza Vitale is an Italian herb extracts manufacturer, and their expert team helps to lead CITIVA’s Science, Research, and Development Team. They help to ensure that our extraction process produces the finest quality cannabis-based products.
University of West Indies
CITIVA’s partnership with UWI offers us world-class facilities, academic resources, and operating and cultivation space to further our understanding of the potential uses of the cannabis plant.

Braco Estates
CITIVA’s cultivation partner, Braco Estates, operates a 300-year old farming estate in Trelawny, Jamaica, with 1,200 acres of farmable land for cannabis production, and 140,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse space. We will share with Braco an 8,000 sq. ft. Production facility.
Caritox
Caribbean Toxicoloy (Caritox), an independent, third-party toxicology unit, serves as another layer of quality assurance that ensures that customers can trust our products. Caritox is a university and government certified organization.
